A few young chanterelles. These were the best I found. The only bigger ones tougher, and worm-eaten. Saw many more that were too far gone for me to even think about picking. Note to self: go earlier next year.
I saw a bunch of these. I haven't looked them up yet. There were more than I had seen before.
The final haul. It was rather pitiful. I went ahead and grabbed the few young puffballs to add a little to what I had to cook.

What do you eat them with?
these I just fried them with some scrambled eggs. the chanterelles were a little tough. too late in the season.
